The sky of September 2025 and the eclipse of the 21st
Remember that we are in the eclipse corridor from Sept. 7 to Sept. 21, in which the eclipse of the Sun will occur. In Vedic astrology this interval is considered sensitive: it is good not to undertake anything too important at this juncture, such as starting new businesses, signing contracts or making major decisions. It is a time that requires introspection, observation and prayer.
This fortnight, between the Full Moon and the New Moon, is also called the Pitṛ Pakṣa (the "ancestors' fortnight"), because traditionally we commemorate our ancestors. It is a time when we are reminded that the body our soul wears in this incarnation is the fruit of our family tree.
Honoring those who have gone before us does not mean being stuck in the past, but recognizing that from those roots flows the sap that sustains us today. Respect for ancestors roots us in the past, blesses us in the present and encourages us to leave, in turn, a bright legacy in the future.
Our relationship with the ancestors
The fact that Pitṛ Pakṣa falls right between two eclipses opens a particularly important portal for connecting with our cosmic ancestors.
Try asking yourself:
who is my father?
Who is my father's father?
And who is my grandfather's father... and so on, backwards in time....
If you continue this journey backwards, you get to the origin of humanity, and beyond, to the very origin of life itself. In the Purāṇa and Vedic texts, it is told that humanity descends from Manu, the first human being on Earth. But the oldest roots do not stop there: the Vedas tell that the soul and life itself originate in the cosmos, among the stars and the stars.
In this sense, we can say that our earliest ancestors are not only terrestrial, but stellar. It is as if this portal opens the door to new forms of communication with the stars.
(And not coincidentally, "Yoga delle Stelle" really means union with the stars! 🌌)
Look at the stars
I invite you to practice a simple but powerful gesture: every now and then, in the evening, look at the sky. Stop and observe the stars, the constellations, the lights that seem to move in unusual ways. They could be simple astronomical phenomena, but they could also be signs: the Deva and our ancestors Who send us their blessings.
You will see that topics related to the universe and its people-life in space, cosmic ancestors, higher civilizations-will become increasingly discussed from the 2026, up to a real peak in 2027.
After the tunnel there is much light
In Vedic astrology, Ketu represents both the upward direction (liberation, the mokṣa) and the lineage from which we descend. By looking at the sky, we can pick up profound messages that come from the stars and our unseen roots.
We are in a phase of collective preparation for something extraordinary that will culminate in a Dharmic kingdom between 2030 and 2032. But to get there we have to go through the tunnel: and in the daily news we see the two sides of this process. On one side more and more people awakening to a higher consciousness; on the other side crimes, wars, violence, low energies. It is a subtle and silent struggle, and each of us chooses, moment by moment, which side we are on.
After the tunnel, however, the following awaits us. a lot of light.
The solar eclipse on September 21
The solar eclipse of the September 21 will not be visible from Europe-and this, in a way, is good. When the eclipse is not visible locally, it is not necessary to protect yourself physically; on the contrary, if it were visible, it would be advisable not to expose yourself to its direct light, since its influence can remain active even for years, especially if the axis touches sensitive points in your birth chart (Ascendant, Moon or Ārūḍha).
This eclipse will be visible in the South pole, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

Eclipses as amplifiers
This is a partial eclipse, which will last from the 7:30 p.m. to 11:53 p.m. September 21. In those hours the energy of Rāhu e Ketu becomes particularly powerful, like a huge amplifier.
Imagine a radio signal or sound being amplified by a speaker: any vibration at that moment is multiplied infinitely. So it is with emotions:
If we are in anxiety or fear, those energies will come multiply by 1000 And they will remain imprinted for months;
Instead, if we cultivate calmness, serenity and prayer, these qualities will in turn be amplified and continue to sustain us over time.
For this reason, during eclipses, Meditation, mantras and prayers have a thousand times more power.
Mantra for the eclipse
Reciting a mantra during an eclipse is equivalent to multiplying its power. A single round of mālā (108 repetitions) is like having recited a thousand.
I particularly recommend:
the Mahā-mantra: Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare, Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Hare Hare
the mantra of Śiva: oṁ namo bhagavate dakṣiṇāmūrtaye
Material or spiritual eclipse
Since the eclipse is solar and Sun/Moon conjunct Ketu, this is an opportunity to pray not so much for material goals, but for your spiritual emancipation, for the realization of your ideals, to make a deeper connection with God, Nature and other beings from a divine perspective.
Mantras become the vehicle through which these prayers reach their destination.
Details of the eclipse chart
The eclipse occurs with the axis Rāhu-Ketu at Lion/Aquarium (sidereal zodiac). The Sun and Moon will be conjunct in Virgin (Amāvāsyā).
Rāhu and Ketu at 23°20'
Sun and Moon at 4°47' Virgo
This gap is what makes the eclipse partial and not total, with the maximum at the 21:53 (4°53' Virgo).
The solar eclipse in Virgo
This eclipse occurs at 4° of Virgo, a sign that speaks of discipline, purification and service. Virgo reminds us of the importance of putting our lives in order, taking care of the details and healing what has been left behind. It is as if the light of the Sun and Moon shows us clearly what we can no longer ignore: the chaos that demands to be transformed into harmony, the everyday actions that are waiting to be realigned to a more authentic sense.
The eclipse in Uttara Phalguni
But it is not just an eclipse in Virgo: it occurs in the star Uttara Phalguni, which marks a delicate transition between Leo and Virgo. Here, pride and superficial forms of authority are swept away by Ketu's shadow in Leo, while the Sun and Moon in Virgo bring to light more humble values: responsibility, continuity, and the ability to build prosperity through sincere relationships and lasting commitments.
Uttara Phalguni, guided by the Sun and the energy of Aryaman, reminds us that joy does not hold without responsibility. Her shakti, the Chayani Shakti, is the force that makes prosperity stable when it arises from union and righteousness. Therefore, the eclipse carries with it a clear invitation: to let go of ties, roles or agreements that are ego-based, and instead open up to truer commitments that can sustain life over time.
Venus and relationships
The most affected planet will be Venus, a symbol of love, relationships, beauty and the feminine. With Ketu in play, we may feel emotional drain, detachment in relationships, or the reopening of wounds related to abandonment. It is important to recognize these signs without being frightened: they are invitations to seek relationships based on deeper, more spiritual values.
Mercury and communications
Also Mercury will be afflicted, being conjunct the Sun and obscured by the eclipse. Possible effects:
misunderstandings, manipulations, lies
difficulty communicating with institutions or those in power
sense of bureaucratic oppression
The risk is to feel overburdened and voiceless. But the invitation is to find new ways of communication that are more authentic, spiritual and creative.
Increasingly black politics, upward portal
We see a world being overshadowed, but at the same time a energy portal That connects us to the light source. The eclipse always represents the dance between light and shadow, both outside of us and within us.
Pope-karters and anger management
Sun, Moon and Mercury are squeezed into a pāpa-kartari yoga (evil scissor) between Mars and Ketu. This generates pent-up frustration and anger. This is a combination also called Piśāca-yoga, which awakens in the collective unconscious a sense of entrapment and oppression.
The consequence may be a wave of collective anger, which may result in visible events in the coming months: social tensions, protests, conflicts.
How to manage anger
If you feel a deep and ancient anger emerging, remember that it does not belong only to you: it is the echo of thecollective unconscious, burdened over the years by wars, restrictions, violence, animal exploitation and all the heavy energies that have marked our age.
The key is not to repress it, but to transform it: through mantras, yoga, meditation, contact with nature and Dharma-inspired actions. The fasts of Ekādaśī over the next six months, as well as practices involving the body--physical activity, sports, manual labor--that help relieve tension. Above all, cultivate patience and perseverance, which are the true balm for the heart.
Remedies for eclipse
To protect and purify your energy:
🟢 Purifying shower just before and after the eclipse
🟢 Fasting: at least 10 hours before and during the eclipse (avoid grains, drugs, alcohol, heavy foods)
🟢 Mantra, meditation, prayer during the hours of the eclipse
🟢 Reading of sacred texts, particularly the Bhagavad Gītā
🟢 Donations and charity To a temple or those in need
During the eclipse the "tamasic" (dark) energy of Rāhu intensifies. These remedies serve to raising your personal vibration.
✅ Fasting
Food retains the influence of the eclipse. Better to fast or at least lighten your diet. If you cannot do total fasting, avoid grains and heavy foods.
✅ Meditation
Remember: this eclipse is incredibly spiritual. Your prayers, mantras and intentions for evolution have extraordinary power.
We are in a world in urgent need of evolved, conscious and enlightened souls.
Conclusion
Every eclipse brings with it a shadow, but also the possibility of an inner leap. If we use this time to purify our intentions and keep a gaze toward the light, we will find that trials are not obstacles, but stepping stones. After the darkness, the sun always shines again -- and we with it, stronger, clearer and closer to our true nature. 🌞
